Raimund Beck Nageltechnik GmbH (= NAIL TECH AUSTRIA), a member of BECK, has developed its FasCoat® finish, which withstands more than 2000 hours in the salt spray test according to ASTM B117 or in the Kesternich test according to DIN EN ISO 9227. The tests were carried out by independent accredited testing laboratories and show the time until the first significant signs of red rust appear. Red rust is considered to be present if more than one fastener produces at least 5% red rust in the fastener heads, which are the open areas of the fastener.
