Eurotec Hapatec - Stainless Steel Wood Screws (4.0 x 50 mm) (500 pcs.) Black

"Hapatec" wood screws are made of hardened stainless steel. The screw has a groove at the bottom of the thread, milled edges on the thread, and a countersunk head.

Material

• Martensitic stainless steel 1.4006 (C1);
  (Stainless steel according to DIN EN 10088);
• Increased durability:
  60% higher breaking torque than V2A and V4A austenitic stainless steel;
  Hardened by heat treatment.
• Can be used in 1-3 service classes according to DIN EN 1995 (Eurocode 5);
• Limited corrosion resistance;
• Not acid resistant;
• Not suitable for wood containing tannins, e.g., cucumber, oak, incense, robinia, etc.;
• Not suitable for use in aggressive, salty or chlorinated environments;
• Magnetizable.

  For hardwood used in terrace and facade constructions, pre-drilling is highly recommended!;
